The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team placed 19th with 47 points, while the men’s squad finished in 24th with 35 points at the 2011 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships held in Knoxville, Tenn.

Men’s Swimming & Diving Falls 133-108 To MSU-Mankato

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving team suffered a 133-108 loss to MSU-Mankato in its final home meet of the season on Senior Night in the Lund Natatorium. The Gusties registered 17 top-three finishes, four of which were in event wins, at the meet.

Men’s Swimming & Diving Defeats Hamline And Falls To St. Thomas In Double-Dual

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving team fell 168-137 to St. Thomas, yet defeated Hamline 240-38 in Saturday’s double-dual held in the Lund Natatorium in St. Peter, Minn. Whitaker Davis and Billy Schultze were the top Gusties swimmers at the meet, recording three individual event wins each. The Gusties registered 10 individual event wins on the day.

Men’s Swimming & Diving Takes Second at CSB/SJU Invitational

The Gustavus men's swimming and diving team finished in second place with 661 points at the CSB/SJU Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Collegeville, Minn. The Gusties tallied four event wins on the day, two of which were by Paul Kirihara who won the 100 (55.15) and 200 backstroke (2:00.67). Saint Cloud State University won the meet with 829 points.

Men’s Swimming Takes First At Falcon Invitational

The Gustavus men's swimming team took first place at the Falcon Invitational held in the University of Minnesota's Aquatics Center on Friday and Saturday. Skylar Davis was the top Gustavus swimmer, winning the 200 and 500 freestyle, and the 400 IM. The Gusties registered 995 points in the two-day swim meet.
