The No. 11 Gustavus volleyball team pays a visit to MIAC foe St. Thomas Wednesday night. The Gusties, who are coming off a 3-0 weekend at the UW-Whitewater tournament, enter the match 18-2 overall and 6-0 in the MIAC, while the Tommies are 16-6 overall and 5-1 in the league.

During its 50th season celebration Saturday, the No. 12 Gustavus volleyball team defeated Bethel in straight sets at Gus Young Court, improving to 12-2 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC. The Gusties won by scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-15, handing the Royals their first conference loss of the season (12-3, 2-1 MIAC). Nora Holtan (Sr., Rochester, Minn.) finished with 27 assists and moved into second place in the Gustavus record books with 4,023 career assists.

Volleyball Runs Away with Straight-Set Victory at Carleton

The No. 9 Gustavus volleyball team Wednesday began conference play with a straight-set victory over Hamline. The Gusties won by scores of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-23 to improve to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in the MIAC.

Volleyball Hosts Hamline Wednesday Night in MIAC Opener

The No. 9 Gustavus volleyball team finally gets to play at the friendly confines of Gus Young Court tonight as it hosts Hamline in the MIAC opener at 7 p.m. The Gusties are 7-1 overall after winning the Loras Invitational last weekend, while the Pipers are 5-1, most recently defeating Marian 3-0 last Saturday.

Hanson, Holtan earn MIAC Volleyball Players of the Week Honors

Gustavus volleyball seniors Lauren Hanson (Redwood Falls, Minn.) and Nora Holtan (Rochester, Minn.) have been named MIAC Volleyball Hitter and Setter of the Week, respectively.
