The Gustavus men's hockey team opened NCAA Tournament play with an exciting 3-1 win over St. Thomas in St. Peter on Wednesday night. The Gusties (20-6-2) will now play St. Norbert (22-3-3) on Saturday night in DePere, Wis. for a chance to advance to the NCAA Tournament Finals in Lake Placid, New York.

The Gustavus Adolphus men's hockey team will face UW-Superior in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Tournament on Saturday, March 14 in Superior, Wis. at 7:05 p.m. The Gusties, who are 17-10-0, earned an automatic bid into the tournament by defeating Hamline 5-2 in the MIAC Playoff Championship last Wednesday. UW-Superior, which is 23-3-3, received one of five at-large bids.
The Gustavus volleyball team will face the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire in the first round of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Schoenecker Arena in St. Paul, Minn. Gustavus, which finished tied for second in the MIAC regular season, enters with a mark of 26-4. After facing a 17-point halftime deficit, the Golden Gusties fought back to within two points with 8:17 left after Bri Radtke hit a three-point shot from the left corner, but were unable complete the comeback.

The Gustavus women's basketball team will face Simpson College in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament on Friday, Mar. 7 at 7:00 pm at Cowles Fieldhouse in Indianola, Iowa. Gustavus will audiostream the match through the Gustavus Athletics Broadcast page. Matt Thomas and Adele Burk will handle the play-by-play.
