Women’s Hockey Will Host UW-River Falls In First Round NCAA Tournament Game on Saturday
The Gustavus women’s hockey team has been selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament and the Gusties will host the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in a quarterfinal game on Saturday, March 13 at 2:00 pm at Don Roberts Ice Rink. This is the ninth consecutive year that Gustavus has been selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
Men’s Hockey Edges St. Thomas 3-1 in NCAA Tournament Play
The Gustavus men's hockey team opened NCAA Tournament play with an exciting 3-1 win over St. Thomas in St. Peter on Wednesday night. The Gusties (20-6-2) will now play St. Norbert (22-3-3) on Saturday night in DePere, Wis. for a chance to advance to the NCAA Tournament Finals in Lake Placid, New York.

The Gustavus men's hockey team will make its second consecutive tournament appearance when it hosts familiar foe St. Thomas in a NCAA First Round Tournament game on Wednesday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink at 7:00 pm. The Gusties, who won the MIAC Regular Season title, received an at-large bid to the tournament, while St. Thomas, which knocked off the Gusties 2-1 in overtime last Wednesday to win the MIAC Playoff title received an automatic bid to the tournament.

Pre-sale tickets are now available for the Gustavus men's hockey NCAA Quarterfinal game against on Saturday, March 14 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $10 regardless of age and can only be purchased with a Visa or Mastercard over the telephone. The Gustavus Adolphus men's hockey team will face UW-Superior in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Tournament on Saturday, March 14 in Superior, Wis. at 7:05 p.m. The Gusties, who are 17-10-0, earned an automatic bid into the tournament by defeating Hamline 5-2 in the MIAC Playoff Championship last Wednesday. UW-Superior, which is 23-3-3, received one of five at-large bids.
Volleyball Ready For UW-Eau Claire In First Round of NCAA Tournament
The Gustavus volleyball team will face the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire in the first round of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Schoenecker Arena in St. Paul, Minn. Gustavus, which finished tied for second in the MIAC regular season, enters with a mark of 26-4. Gustavus will be providing a live video broadcast of the match with Tom Wheeler doing the play-by-play.

The Gustavus women's basketball team came up short in a 73-64 loss to ninth-ranked Simpson College despite composing a valiant second-half rally in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday night in Indianola, Iowa. After facing a 17-point halftime deficit, the Golden Gusties fought back to within two points with 8:17 left after Bri Radtke hit a three-point shot from the left corner, but were unable complete the comeback.
