Tickets On Sale For Men’s Hockey NCAA Quarterfinal Game Against UW-Superior

Pre-sale tickets are now available for the Gustavus men's hockey NCAA Quarterfinal game against on Saturday, March 14 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $10 regardless of age and can only be purchased with a Visa or Mastercard over the telephone. Individuals interested in purchasing tickets in advance should contact Tami at UW-Superior at 715-395-4693. There is a limit of 250 pre-sale tickets available for Gustie fans.

Gustavus received its first bid into the NCAA Tournament since 1993. 

Men’s Hockey To Face UW-Superior In Quarterfinal Round of NCAA Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus men's hockey team will face UW-Superior in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Tournament on Saturday, March 14 in Superior, Wis. at 7:05 p.m. The Gusties, who are 17-10-0, earned an automatic bid into the tournament by defeating Hamline 5-2 in the MIAC Playoff Championship last Wednesday. UW-Superior, which is 23-3-3, received one of five at-large bids.

Gustavus will face UW-Eau Claire on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. 

Volleyball Ready For UW-Eau Claire In First Round of NCAA Tournament

The Gustavus volleyball team will face the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire in the first round of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Schoenecker Arena in St. Paul, Minn. Gustavus, which finished tied for second in the MIAC regular season, enters with a mark of 26-4. Gustavus will be providing a live video broadcast of the match with Tom Wheeler doing the play-by-play.

Gustavus received an invitation to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1986. 

Volleyball Receives At-Large Bid To NCAA Tournament, Will Face UW-Eau Claire In First Round

The Gustavus volleyball team received word on Monday morning that it has received an invitation to participate in the 2008 NCAA Division III National Tournament. Coach Kari Eckheart's squad, which has compiled a record of 26-4, received one of 19 at-large berths to the tournament. The Gusties will travel to the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. to play University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, which is 23-11, on Thursday, November 13 at 3:30 p.m.

Comeback Falls Short As Women’s Basketball Concludes Season With 73-64 Loss To Simpson

The Gustavus women's basketball team came up short in a 73-64 loss to ninth-ranked Simpson College despite composing a valiant second-half rally in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday night in Indianola, Iowa. After facing a 17-point halftime deficit, the Golden Gusties fought back to within two points with 8:17 left after Bri Radtke hit a three-point shot from the left corner, but were unable complete the comeback.

Gustavus and Simpson will tip-off at 7 p.m. on Friday night. 

Women’s Basketball Faces Simpson In First Round Of NCAA Tournament, Game Broadcast Available On Internet

The Gustavus women's basketball team will face Simpson College in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament on Friday, Mar. 7 at 7:00 pm at Cowles Fieldhouse in Indianola, Iowa. Gustavus will audiostream the match through the Gustavus Athletics Broadcast page. Matt Thomas and Adele Burk will handle the play-by-play.

This is the fifth NCAA Tournament appearance for the Gustavus women’s basketball program.

The Gustavus women's basketball team received word on Sunday night that it has received an invitation to participate in the 2007-08 NCAA Division III National Tournament. Coach Mickey Haller's squad, which has compiled a record of 18-9, received one of 21 at-large berths to the tournament. The Gusties will travel to Indianola, Iowa and play host Simpson College on Friday.
