The No. 12-ranked Gusties stay perfect with the win, moving to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the MIAC, while the Auggies drop to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the league.

Women’s Basketball Wins Big In Conference Opener, 88-47 Over St. Olaf

After starting slow for the second consecutive game Saturday with just 11 points in the first quarter, the Gustavus women’s basketball team was able to kick it in gear during the second quarter and cruised to an 88-47 win over St. Olaf. The No. 12-ranked Gusties, who were able to play all 17 members on the roster, improve to 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the MIAC, while St. Olaf drops to 2-6 overall and 0-1 in the league.

Strong Second Half Start Leads To Women’s Basketball 71-50 Win Over UW-River Falls

After a slow start to Thursday’s non-conference women’s basketball game, Gustavus used a big third quarter, outscoring UW-River Falls 26-13, en route to a decisive 71-50 victory at Gus Young Court. The win moves the No. 12-ranked Gusties to 4-0 on the season, while the Falcons drop to 3-2.

Women’s Hoops Cruises To 78-45 Win At Martin Luther

Monday’s non-conference women’s basketball game got off to a slow start with just one bucket from each team in nearly the first five minutes, but after giving up the first two points of the game Gustavus took a lead it would not relinquish against Martin Luther in a 78-45 decision. The Gusties found their stride late in the first quarter and held at least a 20-point lead throughout the second half, cruising to their third victory in as many games to start the season.

Women’s Basketball Eager To Begin 2017-18 Campaign

One season removed from the program’s first NCAA tournament appearance since 2008, the Gustavus women’s basketball team tips off the 2017-18 campaign Wednesday with its sights set high. The Gusties begin the season on the road tomorrow against Buena Vista University, starting at 7 p.m. in Storm Lake, Iowa.
