    Katie McCoy (Fy., Grafton, Wis.) shut out the No. 7-ranked team in the nation in her first collegiate start in goal as Gustavus defeated UW-Eau Claire 1-0 on Saturday. For her performance, McCoy has been named MIAC Women’s Hockey Athlete of the Week.

    Jacob Pedersen (So., Minnetonka) shot two rounds of one-under-par golf followed by an even-par 73 on Monday to finish in a tie for medalist honors at the Twin Cities Classic over the weekend. For his performance, Pedersen was named MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week.

    Gustavus women’s golfer Erin Ericson (So., Onalaska, Wis.) captured her first career medalist honor, carding a three-over-par 75-72-147 to win Division III Classic in a field of 90 golfers over the weekend. For her performance, Ericson was awarded the MIAC Women’s Golfer of the Week.

    Chase Johnson (Sr., Golden Valley, Minn.) went a combined 5-1 in singles and doubles play at the highly-competitive Stag-Hen Invitational, which featured a field of eight nationally-ranked teams. For his performance, Johnson has been named MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
