The Gustavus men's golf team posted a 54-hole total of 298-298-283--879 to finish second at its own Bobby Krig Invitational, which wrapped up with 36 holes at Le Sueur Country Club on Monday. Trevor Gervais led Gustavus individually as he finished fourth with a total of 72-75-70--217 (+5).

Gustavus Adolphus College men’s golfer A.J. Olson (Sr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) has been recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) as a Division III Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar for his play on the links as well as his work in the classroom. Olson ranked third on the team with a 77.2 scoring average during the 2009-10 season while keeping up to par in the classroom with a 3.67 cumulative grade-point average.

Olson finished second individually and recorded the low score for a MIAC golfer with his total of 74-69-72–215 (-1). Olson's second round score of 69 at Le Sueur Country Club on Monday tied for his career best 18-hole round, while his 54-hole total of 215 was the best of his career.
