The Gustavus men’s basketball team fended off a late rally by the Macalester Scots to win its fifth consecutive MIAC game. The Scots led 64-63 with 5:23 to play, but the Gusties finished the game on a 15-6 run to win 78-70.

The Gustavus men’s basketball team fended off Augsburg 63-56 Saturday afternoon in St. Peter for its fourth consecutive MIAC victory. The Gusties were led by senior Doug Espenson and junior Adam TeBrake who each had 17 points.

The Gustavus men’s basketball team rallied from a 10-point deficit to sneak past St. Olaf 70-67 in Northfield on Wednesday night. Doug Espenson led the Gusties in scoring with 18 points.
