Gustavus Adolphus senior track and field athletes Carl Stenoien (Underwood, Minn.) and Matt Leeb (Kasota, Minn.) have both earned a spot on the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District Five Second Team.

Gustavus Adolphus senior Max Hanson highlighted the final day of the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships by winning the 800-meter run with a time of 1:49.50. Hanson also joined Cole Carlson, Colby Citrowske, and Matt Leeb in a second place finish in the 400-meter relay (3:12.82) to cap off the 2010 NCAA Championships.
Select members of the Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams took part in the first day of competition at the Division III NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships being held on the campus of Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.

The Gustavus Adolphus 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Matt Leeb (Jr., St. Peter, Minn.), Cole Carlson (Sr., Mora, Minn.), Colby Citrowski (Jr., Canby, Minn.), and Max Hanson (Sr., Buffalo, Minn.) earned MIAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Track Athletes of the Week honors for its performance at the 2010 Drake Relays held in in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday.
The Gustavus Adolphus 4x400 men's relay team consisting of Matt Leeb, Cole Carlson, Colby Citrowske, and Max Hanson took seventh place with a time of 3:12.88 at the Drake Relays held in Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday. The four individuals were the only members of the Gustavus men's outdoor track and field team to compete at the Drake Relays. Winning the event was the team from Oklahoma Baptist with a time of 3:09.56.
