Sam Broderius And Janey Helland Record Wins For Women’s Outdoor Track & Field At Manitou Classic
The Gustavus women’s outdoor track and field team registered 14 top five finishes at the Manitou Track and Field Classic held on the campus of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. on Saturday afternoon. Sam Broderius and Janey Helland registered individual event wins for Gustavus at the meet. Broderius won the shot put (41’ 4.25”) and Helland won the long jump (17’ 9.75”). No team scores were kept at the meet.
Laura Edlund, Lisa Brown Lead Women’s Track and Field Team at Manitou Classic
Laura Edlund finished second in the 5,000 meters and Lisa Brown placed second in the shot put to highlight a successful day for the Gustavus women's track and field team at the Manitou Classic at St. Olaf College. The Gusties turned in top eight performances in 17 different events. No team scores were kept for the meet.
