Kroog Named to NSCAA / adidas All-America Third Team

Gustavus Adolphus College senior midfielder Bobby Kroog (Bloomington, Minn.) has been named to the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas NCAA Division III All-America Third Team. Kroog was also a second team selection in 2003 and a third team selection in 2004.

Kroog and Iblings Named to 2005 NSCAA / adidas All-West Region Team

Gustavus Adolphus men's soccer players Bobby Kroog and Jordan Iblings have been named to the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas All-West Region Team. Kroog makes his third consecutive appearance on the first team, while Iblings is being honored for the first time.

Three Gusties Named to All-MIAC Men’s Soccer Team, Bobby Kroog Named MIAC MVP

Three Gustavus men's soccer players were named to the MIAC All-Conference team for the 2005 season. Senior midfielder Bobby Kroog (Bloomington, Minn.) was named the MIAC's Most Valuable Player and earned all-conference honors for the third year in a row. Seniors Jon Astry (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and Jordan Iblings (Plymouth, Minn.) were also named to the first team, while senior forward Caleb Bousu (Burnsville, Minn.) and sophomore midfielder Jeffrey Johnson (Tonka Bay, Minn.) received honorable mention.

Bobby Kroog Named MIAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus senior midfielder Bobby Kroog (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) led the Gusties to two key victories this week in MIAC play. Kroog recorded a hat trick on Saturday with three goals in a 5-0 victory over Concordia. Kroog's four goals this season have moved him up the Gustavus career scoring list. With 26 career goals, he is now tied for seventh place all-time and his 57 career points moves him into 10th place all-time.

Men’s Soccer Defeats Concordia 5-0; Kroog Scores Three Goals

The Gustavus men's soccer team downed Concordia College 5-0 in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup Saturday in St. Peter. Senior forward Bobby Kroog (Bloomington, Minn.) scored three goals to lead the Gusties offensively. With the victory, the Gusties improved to 4-1-1 on the season and 2-0 in the MIAC.
