Jenni White Selected To Compete In NCAA Individual Championships, White and Sierra Krebsbach Chosen For Doubles
The NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Committee has selected Jenni White (Sr., Cedar Rapids, Iowa) as one of 32 single players to participate in the NCAA Women's Tennis Individual Championship. White and doubles partner Sierra Krebsbach (So., North Oaks, Minn.) were also selected as one of 16 double teams to participate in the NCAA Women's Tennis Double Championship.
Andy Bryan Finishes Second in Singles at ITA Championships, White, Krebsbach Finish Sixth and Seventh Respectively
Gustavus men's tennis player Andy Bryan finished second at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Small College Championships with a hard-fought loss to John Watts of Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri) 6-4, 2-6, 3-6. On the women's side, Jenni White lost to Katie Tabb of Washington and Lee 4-6, 5-7 to finish in sixth place, while Sierra Krebsbach defeated Sabra Rogers of Emory 6-1, 6-3 to finish seventh. The tournament was played in Mobile, Alabama.
Andy Bryan Advances to Singles Final at ITA Championships, While Jenni White and Sierra Krebsbach Finish Third in Doubles
Gustavus men's tennis player Andy Bryan advanced to the singles championship at the ITA Small College Championships with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Dan Greenberg of Williams College. Bryan will play John Watts of Washington University in the championship match on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 8:30 am (EST). On the women's side, Jenni White and Sierra Krebsbach won the third place match in the doubles draw by defeating Marissa Lin and Vindya Dayananda of Chicago University 6-3, 6-4.
Bryan and Paukert Advance to Semifinals in Singles and Doubles at ITA Championships, White and Krebsbach To Play for Third Place
The Gustavus contingent at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Small College Championships had an interesting first day highlighted by Andy Bryan advancing to the semifinals in singles and teaming with Charlie Paukert to advance to the semifinals in doubles on the men's side. On the women's side Jenni White and Sierra Krebsbach dropped first round matches in singles, but split two matches in doubles play and will now play for third place in the doubles draw.
