    Men’s Tennis Earns 33rd Consecutive MIAC Championship, Shuts Out Hamline

    SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s tennis team locked up its 33rd consecutive MIAC regular season championship and the No. 1 seed for the postseason tournament, which begins next Friday. The Gusties are now 22-10 overall and finish the conference season 9-0.

    SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s tennis team took a regional win on Saturday morning against UW-Eau Claire. The No. 5 regionally ranked Gusties defeated the No. 12 regionally ranked Blugolds 9-0. With the victory, Gustavus improves to 19-10 overall.

    CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Gustavus men’s tennis team brought the heat in doubles before being iced out by Bowdoin in singles for a 3-6 loss. Gustavus finishes the Stag-Hen Invite with a sixth place finish out of eight teams and posts a 9-6 overall record.

    The 2020 ITA Division III Men’s All-Americans were named after a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic with three Gustavus men’s tennis student-athletes receiving recognition – Daniel Fouchier (Fy., Nootdorp, Netherlands) and Michael O’Neil (Sr., Edina) in doubles, and Indraneel Raut (So., Oshkosh, Wis.) in singles.
