Hanson Repeats as MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Year
Gustavus Adolphus sophomore swimmer Ben Hanson (Minnetonka,Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Year for the second consecutive season following a three-win individual performance at the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships last weekend. Hanson defended the 200-yard, 500-yard, and 1650-yard freestyle titles he won a year ago.
Hanson Named MIAC Swimmer of the Week
Gustavus Adolphus sophomore swimmer Ben Hanson (Minnetonka,Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 13. Hanson played a major part in Gustavus' 122-120 dual win over St. Olaf on Friday, November 11. He won the 500 and 1000 freestyle races and swam a crucial leg on a second-place 400-freestyle relay team that secured the victory in the dual.
