Volleyball 4-0 at Gustavus Classic
Gustavus and Carleton each finished with 4-0 records at the 2005 Gustavus Volleyball Classic. After defeating Viterbo and Martin Luther on Friday, the Gusties returned Saturday to knock off Cornell, 3-1, and Northwestern, 3-0, to finish the weekend undefeated. Carleton defeated Martin Luther and Cornell on Friday night and went on to dispatch Northwestern and Viterbo on Saturday to also end the weekend undefeated.
Volleyball to Host Gustavus Classic
The Gustavus Adolphus volleyball team will open its home schedule by hosting the Gustavus Classic September 9-10 in St. Peter. Action on Gus Young Court at Lund Center will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, September 9 as Gustavus faces Viterbo University. Carleton will face Martin Luther College on an adjacent court at the same time. Northwestern (Minn.) and Cornell College will also be in action throughout the weekend.
