Men’s Indoor Track & Field Finishes Third At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s indoor track and field team recorded a three-day total of 75.5 points to finish third at the 2011 MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held this weekend in St. Paul.

Max Hanson Highlights Final Day Of NCAA Championships

Gustavus Adolphus senior Max Hanson highlighted the final day of the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships by winning the 800-meter run with a time of 1:49.50. Hanson also joined Cole Carlson, Colby Citrowske, and Matt Leeb in a second place finish in the 400-meter relay (3:12.82) to cap off the 2010 NCAA Championships.

The Gustavus Adolphus men’s 4x400-meter relay team and Max Hanson have qualified and will compete in the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Tressel Field in Berea, Ohio on May 27-29.

Men’s Outdoor Track And Field Takes Seventh At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s outdoor track and field team took seventh place at the 2010 MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships held Friday and Saturday, May 14-15 in Winona, Minn. The Gusties finished with a two-day point total of 64 points, scoring 44 points in day two of competition. St. Thomas was crowned MIAC Champion after compiling 178.5 points. Hamline finished second with 155 points, and Bethel took third with 109 points.

Men’s Outdoor Track And Field In Seventh After Day One Of MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s outdoor track and field team is currently in seventh place after day one of competition at the 2010 MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships being held Friday and Saturday, May 14-15 in Winona, Minn. The Gusties have compiled a total of 20 points, as St. Thomas leads the pack with 57.5 points. Hamline is currently in second place with 52 points, while Concordia sits in third with 35 points.

Head Coach Dale Bahr’s men’s outdoor track and field team will rely on an experienced group of runners at the 2010 MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 14-15 in Winona, Minn. The Gusties will look to break into the top-five, as St. Thomas and Hamline are the front-runners heading into the MIAC Championships.
