Richardson Named MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Peyton Richardson (So., Crystal Lake, Ill.) swept all four events he competed in last weekend in the Gusties' dual meet against Saint John's. Richardson won the 100 fly in 52.11, the 200 fly in 2:00.55, and the 200 IM in 2:01.16, in addition to swimming on the victorious 200 medley relay team that touched the wall in 1:34.89.
Poe Earns Second MIAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week Honor
Annika Poe (Jr., Big Lake) took second overall and first among college competitors in the shot put at the St. Olaf Quad last weekend. Poe scored a distance of 13.55m (44-05.50), good for the seventh-best shot put throw in NCAA Division III this season.
Swim and Dive Wins Over SJU and CSB on Senior Day
SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus women's and men's swim and diving teams topped Saint Benedict and Saint John's in their final home meet of the season. The Gustie women won 195-99 while the men won by a margin of 201-86.
Women’s Hockey Shuts Out Saint Mary’s 5-0
No. 6 Gustavus women's hockey put Friday night's 1-1 overtime tie in the rear-view mirror Saturday as it shut out Saint Mary's 5-0 at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Gusties, who now have an NCAA Division III-leading 11 shutouts, improve to 14-2-1 overall and 9-0-1 in the MIAC.

Men’s Basketball Wins Overtime Thriller Over St. Olaf 96-90
SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's basketball team hosted St. Olaf on Wednesday night and took a 96-90 win in overtime, improving to 9-6 overall and 6-4 in the MIAC. Kaleb Feahn (Sr., Waseca)and Nolan Malo (Sr., Owatonna) each set new career scoring highs in the process, Feahn with 30 and Malo with 27.
Women’s Basketball Completes Sweep at St. Olaf
The Gustavus women's basketball team on Wednesday beat St. Olaf 56-46 to complete the series sweep. The Gusties improve to 12-3 overall and 10-2 in the MIAC, while the Oles drop to 6-11 overall and 5-9 in the league.
Men’s Hockey Wins 4-2 at St. Olaf
The Gustavus men's hockey team traveled to St. Olaf on Tuesday night to complete its non-conference postponed series sweep over the Oles. The Gusties took a 4-2 win and move to 5-10-2 overall and remain 0-5-1 in the MIAC.
Women’s Hockey Blanks Bethel 5-0
No. 6 Gustavus women's hockey won its sixth consecutive game Tuesday night in a non-conference 5-0 victory over Bethel. The Gusties, who now have a NCAA Division III-leading 10 shutouts, improve to 13-2 overall, while the Royals drop to 5-6.
Hudson, Hofstede Named MIAC Swimmers of the Week
Gustavus swimmers Dane Hudson (Jr., Eden Prairie) and Ellen Hofstede (Jr., Hopkins) have been selected MIAC Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week for their performances at the UW-Stevens Point Invite last Friday and Saturday.
