Olson Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Emily Olson helped the Gusties to a perfect MIAC weekend, contributing on four of the Gusties five goals on Friday. Olson tallied three assists and a goal Friday night to give the Gusties a 5-2 win over Saint Benedict. With her three assists, Olson now has 12 on the season to pace the Gusties. Olson's power play goal added to the Gusties' national lead, which improved to 25 over the weekend. For her performance, Olson was named MIAC Women’s Hockey Offensive Player of the Week.

Women’s Hockey Posts Five Goals in Back-to-Back Games for MIAC Sweep

The Gustavus women's hockey team is nothing if not consistent. After all, the Gusties tallied five goals — and three on the power play — for the second night in a row, defeating Saint Benedict for the MIAC sweep, 5-1.

Women’s Hoops Tops SCU 76-31, Laurie Kelly Gets 400th Win

The Gustavus women's basketball team put up 76 points against St. Catherine Saturday afternoon, rolling past the Wildcats for their third straight MIAC victory. With the win, Head Coach Laurie Kelly tallies her 400th career coaching win. The Gusties improve to 11-2 overall and 8-2 in conference play.

Gymnastics Falls to UW-Whitewater in Home Opener

The Gusties hosted their first meet of the year, inviting national notable UW-Whitewater to Sponberg Gymnastics Studio Saturday afternoon. The Warhawks, in their first meet of the season, put up a score of 186.450 to top the Gusties, who finished with a 181.500 in their home opener.

Track & Field Hosts First Home Indoor Meet in 17 Years

The Gustavus track & field program hosted its first home indoor meet since 2006 on Saturday afternoon in the Lund Forum.

Swim & Dive Defeats Carleton in MIAC Dual

The Gustavus men's and women's swimming & diving teams both defeated Carleton in a MIAC dual meet Friday evening at Vic Gustafson Pool. The Gustie men beat the Knights 176-115 and the Gustie women won 192-108.
