Five Gusties Named Women’s Tennis All-Conference, Carlson Earns Chris Evert Award
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women’s tennis postseason awards Thursday and five Gusties were recognized as All-Conference members. Cal Carlson (Sr., St. Peter, Minn.) highlighted the awards as she was honored with the Chris Evert Award, which annually recognizes a senior tennis student-athlete with outstanding sportsmanship and exemplary athletic, academic and humanitarian accomplishments.

Women’s Tennis Has Successful Showing At USTA/ITA Midwest Regional
The Gustavus women’s tennis team hosted the 2016 USTA/ITA Midwest Regional Tournament this weekend, which featured 30 of the top teams in the region. The Gusties had a good showing in both the singles and doubles draws with four individuals making the final 16 in singles play and one doubles team in the final four.
