Men’s Track & Field Takes Third At St. Olaf Quad

The Gustavus men's track & field team took third out of four teams at the St. Olaf College Quadrangular Friday, scoring 99 points. The University of St. Thomas finished first with 163 points, followed by 140 from Bethel University, 99 from Gustavus, and 91 from St. Olaf. 

Women’s Cross Country Finishes 6th At NCAA Central Region, Men 12th

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the NCAA Central Region meet Saturday, hosted by Carleton College. The women’s team posted a sixth place finish out of 32 teams, while the men took 12th out of 29. Sadie Klug (Sr., Waseca, Minn.) led the women with a 15th place finish, crossing the line in a career-best time of 22:26.5, which is tied for the 20th best 6K time in program history. Andrew Stumbo (Fy., Boone, Iowa) paced the men’s squad, finishing in 38th place with a time of 26:03.9.

Women’s Cross Country Takes Fourth At MIAC Championships, Men Eighth

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the MIAC Championships Saturday, hosted by St. Olaf, with the women taking fourth place and the men finishing eighth. Carleton won both the men’s and women’s conference titles.

Women’s Cross Country Places Sixth At UW-La Crosse Invite, Men 15th

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams took part in the Jim Drews and Tori Neubauer Invitational, hosted by UW-La Crosse on Saturday. The women took sixth out of 21 teams, while the men finished 15th.

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at Carleton’s Running of the Cows Saturday with the men taking seventh place out of 12 and the women finishing third out of 12. Carleton won the women’s race and Carthage won the men’s.

Women’s Cross Country Claims First At Crown Invite, Men Third

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams posted great showings in their first races of the season Friday at the Crown College Invite. The women took first place out of nine teams, including four runners in the top-10, while the men took third out of eight teams. The Gustie women finished one point ahead of Wartburg, while the men finished one point behind second place Concordia-St. Paul.
