The Gustavus women’s tennis team blanked Bethel 5-0 Thursday in a MIAC playoff semifinal match at the Brown Outdoor Courts. The Gusties, now 19-6 overall, advance to the MIAC playoff championship on Saturday where they will host Carleton at 11:30 a.m. 

Simona Potockova (Sr., Nova’ Dubnica, Slovakia) won four matches against a pair of playoff teams over the weekend to lead the Gusties to the 30th MIAC regular season title in program history.

The Gustavus women’s tennis team locked up the No. 1 seed for the MIAC postseason tournament with a 9-0 victory over Saint Benedict on Saturday. The Gusties finish the regular season 18-6 overall and 10-0 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus women’s tennis team won its eighth consecutive match Sunday, beating St. Catherine 6-3 at the University of Minnesota’s Baseline Tennis Center. The Gusties, ranked No. 8 in the Central Region, improve to 16-6 overall and 8-0 in the MIAC.
