Soccer Games Postponed to Sunday and Wednesday

Due to excessive rain, Saturday's Gustavus men's and women's soccer doubleheader against St. Olaf at Gustavus is postponed. The women will play at noon Sunday at St. Olaf while the men host the Oles at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Women’s Soccer Hosts St. Olaf Saturday in Ovarian Cancer Awareness Game

The Gustavus women’s soccer team is hosting St. Olaf at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The contest is designated as a “Team Trina” Ovarian Cancer Awareness game. Trina Rinke was a midfielder for the Gusties until last season and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the summer of 2017.

Women’s Soccer set to host 5th Annual Run for Kicks 5k on Oct. 13

The Gustavus women’s soccer team is set to host its fifth annual Run for Kicks 5k fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 13. The race begins at 10 a.m. on the paved and limestone trails of the Linneaus Arboretum on west side of the Gustavus campus.

Katie Ashpole’s (Jr., Chaska) second goal with less than four minutes remaining in the game put the Gustavus women’s soccer team on top of Saint Mary’s 2-1, which stood for a final. The Gusties move to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in the MIAC while the Cardinals are 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the league.
