Gustavus volleyball player Kate Holtan (Sr., Rochester) has been selected to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, which was announced Thursday. Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Volleyball Battles for Comeback Victory at Saint Ben’s
Trailing 2-1 after three sets in Wednesday night’s match at Saint Benedict, the Gustavus volleyball team erased a 24-19 deficit in the fourth to force a fifth set and was able to complete the comeback with a 15-12 win in the final frame.

Kate Holtan Named MIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
Kate Holtan (Sr., Rochester) picked up right where she left off from the last time Gustavus played a volleyball match in 2019. On Sunday in the Gusties’ season-opening match at Concordia, Holtan led the team with 18 kills in a straight-set victory.
