The Gustavus softball team defeated Bethel College 2-0 and 6-0 at the Gustavus softball field on Monday afternoon. The doubleheader had originally been scheduled for Saturday but was postponed due to rain.

The Gustavus softball team swept Macalester College in St. Paul on Thursday, April 13. The Gusties defeated the Scots 7-0 in game one and 3-0 in game two. Pitcher Joyce DeWitz pitched ten innings faced 31 batters and allowed no hits.

Joyce DeWitz Named MIAC Pitcher of the Week
Joyce DeWitz, a sophomore from Good Thunder, Minn., has been named Pitcher of the Week in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. DeWitz tied an NCAA record with 20 strikeouts in a game against Concordia last Saturday.
