Softball Settles for Split at Carleton

The Gustavus softball team Tuesday split a MIAC doubleheader at Carleton, winning game one 9-1 before a 4-2 loss. The Gusties move to 13-19 overall and 8-10 in the MIAC, while the Knights improve to 18-13 overall and 6-10 in the league. 

Softball Bats Come Alive in Split at Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus softball team scored 18 runs on 25 hits Sunday in a doubleheader split at Saint Mary's. The Gusties won game one 9-2 before dropping the second game 11-9, moving to 12-18 overall and 7-9 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus softball team Saturday was swept by Hamline by scores of 4-3 and 15-6.

Softball Sweeps Concordia 3-0, 9-1

The Gustavus softball team Thursday earned a road sweep at Concordia, winning an 11-inning pitcher's duel in game one, 3-0, and then grabbing a convincing 9-1, five-inning victory in the nightcap.

The Gustavus softball team earned its second conference sweep of the season Wednesday, beating Macalester 6-2 in game one before a 10-7 win in the nightcap.

The Gustavus softball team battled in two close games at No. 21-ranked Saint Benedict, but dropped game one 7-4 and game two 4-3. The Gusties fall to 7-13 overall and 2-4 in the MIAC, while the Bennies improve to 18-3 overall and 6-1 in the league.
