The Gustavus women’s gymnastics team will open its 2005 season in style with a meet in Cancun, Mexico. The Gusties will compete against three Division I teams including the University of Oklahoma, Brigham Young University and George Washington University

The National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches has announced the 2003-04 Academic National Team and Individual honors. The Gustavus gymnastics team placed 14th overall with a cumulative team grade point average of 3.395.

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s gymnastics team will make its seventh consecutive appearance in the NCGA National Championship. The championship will be hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology on April 2-3 in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s gymnastics team placed second at the NCGA West Regional scoring 182.500 total points on Friday night. By finishing as one of the top four teams at the regional, Gustavus has qualified for the NCGA National Meet.

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s gymnastics team will travel to Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Friday, March 19 to compete in the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional.

The Gustavus women’s gymnastics team defeated UW-Oshkosh 182.425 – 173.025 on Friday night at Sponberg Gymnastics Studio in Saint Peter, Minn. Amanda Parker led the Gusties winning the all-around, uneven bars, and balance beam.

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s gymnastics team defeated Hamline University 179.80 – 176.50 at Sponberg Gymnastics Studio in St. Peter, Minn. Friday night. Gustavus finished first in all of the events and improves to 4-1 in dual meet action.

The Gustavus women’s gymnastics team continued its winning ways with a 183.925-174.950 dual meet win over UW-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The Gusties set a new school record for team score with their total of 183.925.
