After a brief downpour delayed play for more than an hour Monday, the Gustavus softball team finished off game one with a 5-2 victory over St. Olaf and completed the sweep with a 3-0 decision, improving to 20-10 overall and 11-5 in the MIAC.

In a battle of the MIAC's top teams, the Gustavus Adolphus College softball team was bested by the University of St. Thomas in a doubleheader at South Field on Saturday. The Tommies earned narrow 3-1 and 4-3 wins, respectively to drop the Gusties to 18-9 overall and 9-4 in the conference.
Saturday’s MIAC softball doubleheader in St. Paul features the league’s top two teams in No. 1 St. Thomas and No. 2 Gustavus. The Gustavus Adolphus College softball team split an MIAC doubleheader with Hamline on Tuesday afternoon at Meredith Field. The Gusties fell in game one 8-4, but bounced back with a strong 7-0 shutout of the Pipers in game two, handing Hamline its first conference loss of the season. With the split, Gustavus is now 13-7 overall and 4-2 in the MIAC, while the Pipers move to 12-8 overall and 5-1 in the conference.
