Softball Lands Four on MIAC All-Conference Team
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) released its softball postseason awards on Tuesday and three Gustavus student-athletes were named All-Conference. Kayla Herda, Madi Mueller, Piper Otto, and Maizie Anderson were selected as All-Conference, while Caitlin Olafsson was named honorable mention.

Softball Loses Pitching Duel to Bethel in MIAC Playoff Semifinals to End Season
The Gustie softball season came to an end Saturday, suffering a 1-0 loss to MIAC Regular Season Champions Bethel. The Gusties and Royals combined for only six hits in the entire game, as Piper Otto and Bethel pitcher Kayla Simacek put on a clinic in the semifinal matchup, combining for 15 strikeouts.
Softball Advances to MIAC Playoff Semifinals with 4-1 Win Over St. Catherine
The Gustavus softball team put together a strong defensive performance against St. Catherine in the opening round of the MIAC Playoffs, defeating the Wildcats 4-1 to advance to the semifinals. The Gusties scored all four of their runs in the first three innings of the game, and held the Wildcats to just one in the fifth for the playoff victory.
