Track & Field Starts Indoor Season at Ice Breaker Open, Nelson Sets NCAA Record

The highlight of the meet was Birgen Nelson setting the NCAA Division III record in the 60-hurdles with a time of 8.38, breaking the previous record of 8.44 set by Adriana Wright of Lehman in 2015. 

Track & Field Garners Multiple USTFCCCA Awards

The Gustavus track & field teams recently earned multiple honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the 2022 outdoor season. Three Gustie women claimed four All-Region accolades, nine individuals received All-Academic Athlete recognition, and both the men's and women's squads were named All-Academic Teams.

197 Gusties Named MIAC Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its 2021-22 Winter and Spring Academic All-Conference honorees on Monday, which included 197 Gustavus student-athletes. 

Track & Field Sets School Records at UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier

A select group from Gustavus track & field competed Thursday at the UW-La Cross Final Qualifier with hopes of improving times and marks in order to qualify for next week's NCAA Outdoor Championships. 

Women’s Track & Field Wins MIAC Championship, Men Take Fifth

For the first time in school history, the Gustavus women won the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Gusties totaled 139 points, clearing second place Saint Benedict by 22 points. The Gustie men took fifth place with 58.25 points.

Women’s Track & Field Sits in Fourth at MIAC Outdoor Championships, Men Seventh

Gustavus track & field kicked off the MIAC Outdoor Championships on Friday at Saint Mary's University with the women collecting 27 points to sit in fourth place, while the men accrued 13 points and are in seventh place.
