Men’s Golf Comes from Behind to Win St. John’s Invitational

The Gustavus men’s golf team rallied from 14 shots back after the first day to win the St. John’s Invitational. The Gusties finished at 308-290–598, two shots ahead of St. John’s. Senior Luke Benoit won the individual title with a total of 73-69–142.

Gustavus Adolphus opened the 2003 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football season by hosting Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday in St. Peter. The Cobbers overcame an early 2-0 deficit to post a 24-2 victory.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team claimed a 1-0 win over Viterbo University in St. Peter, Minnesota on Saturday afternoon. Midfielder Bobby Kroog scored the gamewinner for the Gusties just five minutes into the second half (40:40).

The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated the University of Puget Sound 1-0 at the Gustavus Soccer Field on Monday afternoon. Bobby Kroog scored the game-winner for Gustavus as he headed in a cross from Jordan Iblings twelve minutes into the second half.
