The Gustavus men’s tennis team Saturday shut out Morningside 9-0 at the Swanson Tennis Center to remain perfect at 6-0 this season. The Gusties used 12 players in the decisive victory with straight-set victories in all six singles and doubles going 8-3, 8-2, and 8-1. 

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Wednesday announced its UTR ITA Player of the Week and Gustavus sophomore Daniel Fouchier (Nootdorp, Netherlands) was selected as the Division III honoree.

The Gustavus men’s tennis team Sunday made its first road trip of the season and came away with a 9-0 victory at Concordia.

The Gustavus men’s tennis team won two non-conference matches Sunday. The Gusties started the day with a 7-0 win over Division II Augustana and capped the night with an 8-1 win over Luther to improve to 3-0 overall.

The Gustavus men’s tennis team started its 2021 season Friday with a 9-0 win over St. Olaf at the Swanson Tennis Center. It was the first match of the year for both the Gusties and Oles.

Nearly a full calendar year since its last competition, the Gustavus men’s tennis team opens the 2021 season Friday afternoon at home against St. Olaf.
