It quickly turned into a future of success as Neil Johnson enjoyed his Gustie career as a four-time All-American and member of the 2004 national championship team. His triumphs on the links during his time at Gustavus eventually led to a professional golfing career and now culminates with his first appearance on the PGA Tour as Johnson is competing at the Puerto Rico Open against the world’s best golfers.

Men’s Golf Takes Second At MIAC Championships, Captain Ties For Third

The Gustavus men's golf team wrapped up its fall season Monday with a second place finish at the MIAC Championships, carding a 297-302-298 (897) at Bunker Hills Golf Club. Saint John's won the league championships with a 298-284-297 (879), while Bethel took third with a 302-303-300 (905).

The Gustavus men’s golf team dropped into second place at the MIAC Championships Sunday, not because of a poor score but because Saint John’s posted a low round of 284. After two rounds the Johnnies sit in first place with 582, while the Gusties are in second with a 599 (302 in round two). Bethel is in third place with a 605.
