Six Baseball Players Earn All-Conference Honors
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2004 baseball awards in the past week and Gustavus figured notably in the awards. Six Gusties were named to the All-Conference team, and sophomore Ben Sherer was named MIAC Player of the Year.

The Gustavus women’s tennis team began play in the individual portion of the NCAA Championships on Saturday. The tournament is being played in Memphis, Tennessee.

Baseball Player Ben Sherer Named MIAC Player of the Year
Gustavus sophomore first baseman Ben Sherer has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year by the MIAC baseball coaches. A two-time all-conference selection, Sherer won the MIAC batting title with a .513 average.
