  • Men’s Golf Finishes Season In Fifth Place At Bobby Krig Invite

    The Gustavus men’s golf team concluded its season Saturday by hosting the Bobby Krig Invitational at the New Prague Golf Course. The Gusties took fifth out of nine teams, posting a 303 (+19). Concordia-Moorhead won the event with a two-under 282.

  • Baseball Doubleheader At St. Thomas Postponed To Monday

    Saturday’s MIAC baseball doubleheader at St. Thomas has been postponed to 2:30 p.m. Monday. The postponement is due to a small chemical leak in Lund Center, which has closed the building and kept the team from gathering its equipment.

  • Men’s Golf Wins Home Spring Invite

    The Gustavus men’s golf team won its first home meet of the spring season Friday at the Le Sueur Country Club. The Gusties carded a 291 (+11), seven strokes ahead of second place St. Thomas, who is ranked first in the nation according to the Golfstat Top 25 ranking. 

  • Men’s Tennis Begins MIAC Playoff Title Defense Friday Against Macalester

    The Gustavus men’s tennis team is set to host a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semifinal playoff match at 4 p.m. Friday. The Gusties, who earned the top seed as the regular season champions at 9-0, host fourth-seeded Macalester at the Swanson Tennis Center. The Gusties are 21-8 overall and the Scots are 10-7. 

  • Men’s Golf Takes Fourth At Saint John’s Spring Invite

    The Gustavus men’s golf team took fourth place out of 10 teams Monday at the Saint John’s Spring Invitational. The Gusties finished with a 304-305-609, which was 14 strokes behind the winner, St. Thomas.

  • Women’s Golf Concludes Season With Fourth Place Finish At Carleton Invite

    The Gustavus women’s golf team wrapped up its season Sunday with a fourth place finish at the Carleton Invitational, played at the Northfield Golf Club. The Gusties shot a two-round total of 335-328-663. Host Carleton won the event with a score of 615. 

  • Men’s Golf In Fourth Place After Round One At Saint John’s Invite

    After a rough front nine Sunday, the Gustavus men’s golf team got back on track on the back nine to card a first round total of 304 at the Saint John’s Spring Invitational. The Gusties are seven strokes off the lead, which is held by host Saint John’s at 297.

  • Softball Ends Season On High Note, Sweeps Carleton

    The Gustavus softball team ended its season Sunday on a high note, sweeping Carleton 4-2 and 8-2 to finish the year 12-24 overall and 8-14 in the MIAC. Pitching and defense were keys to the victories as the Gusties did not commit an error and allowed just 12 combined hits.

  • Men’s Tennis Sweeps Saint John’s To Capture MIAC Championship

    After claiming its 300th consecutive MIAC regular season victory last Saturday, the Gustavus men’s tennis team continued another impressive streak Sunday afternoon, defeating Saint John’s 9-0 to claim its 30th-straight conference championship and 52nd overall. The No. 6 Gusties finish the league’s regular season a perfect 9-0 and improve to 21-8 overall.
