    For the sixth time in program history, Gustavus volleyball has claimed the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship. The Gusties on Wednesday night defeated Augsburg in four sets 24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16 to improve their conference record to 10-0 and capture their first MIAC regular season title since 2015.

    One day after receiving MIAC Setter of the Week, Nora Holtan (Sr., Rochester, Minn.) has been recognized as the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III Player of the Week for her exceptional play in two conference victories last week. Holtan is the first Gustavus volleyball player to earn the national award in program history.

    Jacob Lamb Named MIAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week

    Jacob Lamb (Jr., Madison Lake, Minn.) was a perfect 6-for-6 on extra points in challenging kicking conditions as Gustavus defeated Augsburg for the program’s 500th victory all-time. Lamb battled 24-mile-per-hour sustained winds to match his career-high. For his performance, Lamb has been named MIAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week.
