No. 14 Gustavus Dominates Macalester in MIAC Opener
The Gusties made quick work of the Scots, posting their first MIAC victory of the season in their first conference competition, rolling to their third straight 3-0 triumph.

Wednesday’s non-conference game against Central College had an all-too familiar feeling for the Gustavus women’s soccer team. Once again, the Gusties found themselves down a goal in the second half, but unlike their previous competitions, the Gusties weren’t able to regroup, falling to Central by a score of 1-0.
Gusties Post a Pair of 3-0 Victories
The Gusties, who dropped the first match of the invite 3-1 to UW-Stevens Point on Friday, opened Saturday’s action with a 25-19, 25-21, 25-13 sweep over Grinnell, before completing their second 3-0 sweep with a 25-12, 25-21, 25-21 victory over host Loras.

For the first time this season, the Gusties found themselves facing a deficit greater than one goal against Carleton. While the Gusties would add one of their own in the last two minutes of play, the Knights would emerge victorious in Saturday's MIAC contest by a score of 5-1.

Gusties Suffer First Loss of the Year, 1-0
The Gustavus women’s soccer team entered Sunday’s non-conference competition against UW-Eau Claire still undefeated on the 2022 season, with two of three wins coming in comeback fashion. Unfortunately, that comeback streak had to end at some point, as the Blugolds dealt the Gusties their first loss of the season, 1-0.
