The Gustavus Adolphus College baseball team swept St. Olaf College in Saturday’s doubleheader after winning the first game 15-2 and the second 9-8. The Gusties are now 12-15 overall and 4-8 in the MIAC while the Oles fall to 8-19 overall and 2-10 in the league.
Women’s Hockey Eliminated From Playoff Contention With 1-1 Tie Vs. Hamline
The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team finished its regular season with a tie against the Hamline Pipers on Saturday at Don Roberts Ice Rink. With the tie, the Gusties finish their season 9-11-5 overall and 8-6-4 in the MIAC, while the Pipers become 9-13-3 overall and 6-10-2 in the league.
Retribution: Women’s Basketball Earns 52-51 Win Over Saint Benedict
After suffering a 70-61 overtime loss to the College of Saint Benedict in St. Peter on Jan. 20, the Gustavus Adolphus College women's basketball team headed to Saint Joseph on Wednesday evening seeking a little bit of payback. The Gusties got their wish, holding the Blazers scoreless for the final 2:06 of the game to earn a 52-51 victory at Claire Lynch Hall.
Women’s Hockey Drops Tight Affair To Bethel 3-2
The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team fell to Bethel University in their second meeting of the weekend on Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink. Bethel took the win with a score of 3-2, bringing the Royals to 12-9-2 overall and 10-4-2 in the MIAC and dropping the Gusties to 8-11-4 overall and 7-6-3 in the league.
