SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams returned to Vic Gustafson Pool on Friday night, both claiming dual victories over Carleton. The Gustie men won 204-87 and the women won 191-108.

“We had a great week of training coming into tonight’s meet and coming off our trip to Puerto Rico,” Head Coach Jon Carlson said. “We swam a little bit tired but we swam some really smart races. That’s one of the things that I’m really looking for at this part of the year. We are starting to figure out our race strategies for the races that we’ll be competing in at the end of the year, and that’s really starting to come together. Overall tonight I was very pleased. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised by how well we swam with hard we’ve been training. It’s exciting looking forward to the rest of the season”
