BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Nolan Larson (Jr., West Des Moines, Iowa) turned in four first-place finishes to help Gustavus defeat UW-Stevens Point for the first time since 2007. Larson clocked in at 1:54.94 to win the 200-yard butterfly, touched the wall in 51.23 to win the 100-yard butterfly, finished in 1:57.68 to win the 200-yard individual medley, and was part of the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished in 3:12.16. The 100 fly, 200 IM, and 400 free relay were the last three events of the meet, with Larson victoriously swimming each one in consecutive order without a break. For his performances, Larson has been named MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week.
