CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Gustavus women’s tennis team opened its spring break trip Sunday with a 6-3 loss to No. 20-ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Gusties fall to 11-2 with their second straight loss, while MIT improves to 11-1.
“This was a good first match to start our spring break trip,” Head Coach Jon Carlson said. “We had our opportunities and chances, and I think the girls learned a lot that they need to capitalize on those chances in a close match like it was today.”
