ST. PETER, Minn. – A celebration of life service in honor of legendary Gustavus men’s hockey coach Don Roberts will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at Christ Chapel on the College campus. The service is open to the public, as Chaplain Brian Konkol will preside along with the preaching of Dr. Richard Elvee.
The 2016-17 Gustavus men’s hockey campaign marks a monumental milestone for the program as it celebrates 75 seasons at the College. The keystone event of the 75th season celebration will be held on Saturday, as the hockey team will host an all-alumni and friends celebration in Alumni Hall following the 5:05 p.m. game against Augsburg.

Don was a humble and gracious coach, father, and friend. What a special tribute to a legacy.
I knew Mr. Roberts through his daughter, Susan. Always enjoyed his visits to Denver and spending time visiting with him. Such a nice man…..
