St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s basketball team will hit the road on Saturday, Jan. 18th, when it travels to Winona, Minn., to take on Saint Mary’s University in an MIAC contest at SMU Gym. Saturday’s opening tip is set for 3:00 p.m., directly following the women’s game at 1:00 p.m.
The Gusties enter the weekend with a record of 9-5 overall and 6-3 in the MIAC following a 61-50 loss to St. Thomas on Wednesday night in St. Paul. Gustavus will look to get back on track Saturday after losing three of its last five. The Cardinals come in with a record of 2-11 overall and 1-7 in conference play following four straight losses to Concordia (68-47), St. Thomas (87-58), Carleton (77-61), and most recently Hamline (69-65) on Wednesday night in Winona.
