St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus softball team will head to St. Paul to face the University of St. Thomas in a doubleheader on Monday, April 29. The Gusties and Tommies will square off in game one at 3:30 p.m. Gustavus heads into the twin bill at 12-13 overall and 9-5 in the MIAC, while St. Thomas sits atop the league standings at 31-5 overall and 18-0 in the MIAC.
Gustavus is most recently coming off a busy Sunday during which it took part in a pair of doubleheaders against league opponents. The Gusties were swept by St. Catherine 2-0 and 7-0 before splitting with Saint Benedict. Gustavus took game one 4-1, but the Blazers bounced back with a 6-0 win in game two.
