After completing one round of the Carleton Invitational at the par-70 Stonebrooke Golf Club, the Gustavus women’s golf team finished in second-place with a team score of 342. St. Thomas won the event with a team score of 327. Kimbra Kosak (Jr., Grand Rapids, Minn.) led Gustavus with a score of 84, as she tied for fifth-place individually.

The next four team scorers for the Gusties had top ten individual finishes. Rachel Roberg (Sr., Rice Lake, Wis.) finished tied for seventh after shooting an 85, while Katie Schenfeld (Fy., Indianola, Iowa) finished one stroke behind Roberg with a score of 86. Kali Griggs (So., Burnsville, Minn.) and Amanda Johnson (So., Bemijdi, Minn.) both shot 87 to tie for 10th-place. Individually, Lauren Runsvold (Jr., Fargo, N.D.) recorded a score of 93 in a two-way tie for 18th-place.

Gustavus will compete in the Minnesota Championships at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker on April 19-20.
