The Gustavus Adolphus women’s track and field team finished fourth with 30 points in the Maverick Invite at Minnesota State Univeristy, Mankato. North Dakato finished first with 85 points and MSU-Mankato and Augustana College tied for second was second with 75 points.
Jackie Luehmann finished first in the shot put throwing a distance of 12.95m. Luehmann finished fifth in the weight throw with a distance of 13.98m.
Kim Swanson finished first in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:00.71. Lisa Raetz put in a noteable performance finishing second in the long jump with a distance of 4.80m.
The Gusties will be back in action next Saturday at the University of Minnesota. The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 am.
