Gustavus Adolphus College senior midfielder Fraser Horton (Missoula, Mont./Hellgate) has been named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III All-North Region Third Team.  Horton is one among 13 MIAC players honored with All-Region honors, the most of any athletic conference in the region.

Horton was most recently named 2009 MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention after the Gusties concluded the season with a 9-6-3 overall record and a 6-3-1 conference record, while finishing fifth in the MIAC.  He registered two goals and four assists for eight points in 18 games this past season.

In his career at Gustavus, Horton has compiled seven goals and ten assists for a career total of 24 points.  Horton has been named MIAC All-Conference twice (2007 and 2008), as this is the third time he has received NSCAA All-Region honors (2007, 2008, and 2009).  The Gustavus Adolphus men’s soccer team has tied for two regular season conference championships and won the MIAC Playoffs twice in Horton’s four years.  The Gusties have compiled an overall record of 56-18-6 and a MIAC record of 32-7-1 within that time.
