Women’s Tennis Claims Regular Season Title with 9-0 Win Over Carleton

The Gustavus women’s tennis team defeated Carleton College 9-0 on Friday in Burnsville. With the win, the Gusties improve to 10-0 in the MIAC, and clinch the #1 seed for the MIAC Championship, which will be played this weekend.

The Gustavus women’s tennis team defeated Carleton College 9-0 on Friday in Burnsville. With the win, the Gusties improve to 10-0 in the MIAC, and clinch the #1 seed for the MIAC Championship, which will be played this weekend.

The win was the 145th consecutive regular season dual match win for the program. The Gusties have not lost a MIAC regular season dual match since March of 1991. This was Carleton’s first loss in MIAC play this season. Gustavus is now 26-2 overall.
