NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s golf team took place at the St. Olaf-Carleton Spring Invite, played at Willingers Golf Club on Saturday. The Gusties posted a 346 while the winner UW-Whitewater carded a 314.
Laurel Ward (Sr., Bozeman, Mont.) led the way for the Gusties after carding an 81 Saturday and tied for eighth out of 64 golfers. Annika Reierson (Jr., Delano) was next with an 82 and tied for 11th. Emily Kolb (Fy., Sioux Falls, S.D.) tied for 23rd at 85, Hannah Hubbart (Sr., Hastings) placed 55th with a 98 and Lauren Hubbart (Fy., Hastings) finished 57th at 102.
Round two on Sunday is cancelled due to the forecast.
