The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) on Sunday announced the 11-team field for its Division III Women’s Hockey Championship, and Gustavus (24-3), with the MIAC's automatic qualifier, got a bid to the quarterfinals as a host seed.

Softball Settles for Split on First Day of Rochester Dome Tournament

The Gustavus softball team settled for a split in their first two games of the Rochester Dome Tournament, each lopsided in their own way. The Gusties started the day with a dominant 12-0 victory over North Central for their first win of the season, followed by a 8-0 loss to Luther to wrap up Saturday competition.

Women’s Basketball Historic Run Comes to a Close with 68-63 Loss to UW-Whitewater

The Gustavus women's basketball has had an incredible run to the top this season, claiming both MIAC championship titles, earning national recognition in the NCAA DIII top-10, and losing only two regular season games this season. That run came to an unfortunate end Saturday night, as the UW-Whitewater Warhawks ended the Gusties' season in the second round of the NCAA tournament. 

Women’s Tennis Wins Pair of MIAC Matches

The Gustavus women's tennis team Saturday hosted St. Olaf and Hamline and came away with wins of 6-3 and 9-0, respectively.

Women’s Hockey Wins Third-Straight MIAC Playoff Championship

The Gustavus women's hockey team won their third-straight MIAC Playoff Championship with a 4-2 win over Augsburg, clinching a bid to the NCAA tournament with the MIAC's automatic qualifier.

Gusties Shine in Victory Over Hamline

Friday marked the Gusties' last meet before the WIAC Championships, last home meet of the year, and Senior Night — and the Gusties made it count. Placing first in three of the four events, the Gusties defeated Hamline by a score of 185.800-183.300. The Gusties were dominant on nearly all fronts, getting seven career-bests and eight season-bests.

Gusties Dominate Ohio Wesleyan in First Round of NCAA Tournament

Thrive and advance. The Gusties, now on an 18-game winning streak, brought the heat with them from Saint Peter, lighting up the court for 84 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament — setting another record in the process. The win is the Gusties 26th this season, the most by any team in program history. The victory sends the Gusties to the round of 32, where they will face the winner of Webster and host UW-Whitewater Saturday night.

Women’s Hockey Set to Host Augsburg for MIAC Championship Saturday

In case the Gusties and the Auggies haven't had enough of each other already this year, meeting three times already in the regular season, the two teams are set to face each other for the MIAC Playoff title game, hosted by the No. 1 Gusties at Don Roberts Ice Rink on Saturday at 2 p.m.
