Men’s Golf Places Fifth, Seventh at Minnesota Classic
The Gustavus men's golf team Sunday once again fielded two teams at Minnesota Classic, played at Pioneer Creek Golf Course, and finished in fifth and seventh place.
Flurry of Late Goals Leads Men’s Soccer Over Loras 3-1
The Gustavus men's soccer team trailed for more than 76 minutes Sunday, but was knocking on the doorstep for much of the second half. The offensive pressure finally paid off with under eight minutes remaining as the Gusties scored three goals in a 101-second span to defeat Loras 3-1.
Women’s Golf Takes 12th at Wartburg Fall Invite
The Gustavus women's golf team Sunday placed 12th out of 22 teams at the Wartburg Fall Invite, hosted at Prairie Links Golf Course. The Gusties had a 35-stroke improvement from the first round to the second, finishing with a total of 347-312-659 (+83).
Gusties Suffer First Loss of the Year, 1-0
The Gustavus women’s soccer team entered Sunday’s non-conference competition against UW-Eau Claire still undefeated on the 2022 season, with two of three wins coming in comeback fashion. Unfortunately, that comeback streak had to end at some point, as the Blugolds dealt the Gusties their first loss of the season, 1-0.
Gusties Go 2-0 for Second Straight Day
A day after opening the tournament with two sweeps of Pacific Lutheran and UW-La Crosse, the Gusties were back at it during Saturday’s final day of the event, once again posting back-to-back victories over their opponents.

The Gustavus women’s soccer team found itself in familiar territory during Friday night’s non-conference matchup against Dubuque. For the third time this season, the Gusties were trailing their opponent by one goal in the second half. Friday's game would ultimately end in a 1-1 tie between the Gusties and the Spartans.
Cross Country Competes at Hamline, Men and Women Take Third
The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Hamline Invitation Friday, with the men’s team placing third of six and the women’s team posting a third place finish of 10. Carleton won both the men’s and women’s competition.
Gusties Push Winning Streak to Five
The Gustavus volleyball team was nothing if not consistent Friday evening during the opening day of the Augsburg Invitational. The Gusties opened play with a 3-0 win over Pacific Lutheran and followed that up with an identical 3-0 victory over UW-La Crosse.

The Gustavus men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw Wednesday evening at Bethany Lutheran in non-conference action.
Gusties Cruise to 6-0 Win Over Vikings
It had been 25 years since the Gustavus women’s soccer team started its season with three consecutive wins. That all changed this Wednesday, as the Gusties dominated Bethany Lutheran by a score of 6-0 in their 2022 home opener.
