BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gavin Baker (Jr., Lakeville) went 5-for-7 (.714) with six runs batted in and a home run in the Gusties’ sweep over Augsburg on April 13. Baker went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in the 14-1 series opener before recording hits in all three plate appearances in the second game, driving in five runs and crossing home plate three times in a 17-3 victory. Baker is riding a seven-game hit streak and has collected at least two hits in four straight games. For his performance, Baker has been named MIAC Baseball Player of the Week.
